Keenfolks is a Marketing Transformation Partner that operates as both a marketing agency and a technology company. Some engagements look like classic marketing transformation — content systems, brand campaigns, creative production at scale. Others are genuine technology builds — BI platforms on AWS Redshift, custom data pipelines, AI agent orchestration (Claude, GPT, Perplexity working together), automated content-generation stacks. We work with leading global brands including Mars, Reckitt, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, and Diageo, and increasingly with CIOs and procurement teams, not just CMOs. Headquartered in Mexico City with teams across the Americas and Europe.
This is a rare seat at the table: the Senior Strategic Account Director, Americas will own and grow Keenfolks' most important regional relationships while shaping the future of our new business engine across the Americas — a role built for someone who wants real ownership, not just a title.
The mandate spans two pillars:
• Strategic Account Leadership — Be the trusted C-suite partner for global giants like Mars, Reckitt, and Nestlé, driving their growth agenda and shaping how AI-powered marketing transformation shows up in their business. You'll also set the strategic direction for the Account Directors delivering day-to-day excellence across these and other accounts.
• New Business & Acceleration — Take the lead on winning new logos across the Americas: shaping proposals, positioning bold solutions, and accelerating the pipeline that fuels our next chapter of growth.
Because Keenfolks' engagements range from marketing-led (content, campaigns, brand systems) to genuinely technical (data platforms, BI, AI infrastructure), this person needs to flex both ways — pitching a content transformation story to a CMO one week, and a data architecture build to a CTO the next. This isn't a role for someone who can only speak one language.
We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of relationship and results — a natural at earning trust with CMOs and CTOs, sharp enough to close business and grow it, and genuinely fluent in AI, data, and marketing technology. If you're as comfortable leading a boardroom conversation as you are building the deck that wins the pitch, this is your next move.
Client Relationship & C-Suite Engagement
• Serve as the senior Keenfolks point of contact for Mars, Reckitt, and Nestlé.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with CMO, CTO, and other C-level stakeholders across these accounts.
• Lead executive-level business reviews, strategic presentations, and growth conversations.
• Proactively identify and articulate transformation opportunities across each client's marketing ecosystem.
Organic Growth & Account Direction
• Own the organic growth agenda across Mars, Reckitt, and Nestlé — identifying upsell, cross-sell, and scope expansion opportunities.
• Translate client business challenges into Keenfolks solutions across Data, Content, Media, and CX.
• Provide strategic direction and coaching to the two Account Directors managing day-to-day delivery on these and other regional accounts.
• Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and NPS across the account portfolio.
Proposal Development & Solution Positioning
• Lead the development of new business proposals and pitches for prospective clients across the Americas.
• Translate Keenfolks' AI-powered marketing transformation capabilities into clear, client-facing solution narratives.
• Partner with the Tech team to shape proposals that showcase proprietary tools, frameworks, and AI-powered methodologies.
• Ensure consistency and quality across credentials, proposals, and executive materials.
Business Development & Pipeline
• Own the new business pipeline for the Americas region, from opportunity identification through proposal and close.
• Identify and pursue prospective clients, partnerships, and market opportunities that expand Keenfolks' Americas footprint.
• Represent Keenfolks in new business pitches, RFPs, and prospect meetings.
• Track and report pipeline health and win rates to regional leadership.
Team Leadership
• Provide strategic direction to 2 Account Directors (direct reports) supporting Mars, Reckitt, Nestlé, and other regional accounts.
• Support Account Directors on client planning, roadmaps, and growth agendas.
• Identify and address capability gaps affecting proposal quality or delivery confidence.
• Organic revenue growth across Mars, Reckitt, and Nestlé
• New business win rate for the Americas region
• C-level client satisfaction and retention
• Quality and velocity of new business proposals
• Performance and development of the 2 Account Directors reporting into the role
Experience
• 8+ years in account leadership, business development, or client-facing solutions-selling roles within a technology company, consultancy, or agency with a strong technical practice.
• Proven track record managing C-level relationships (CMO/CTO) at major brands (Fortune 500 / global multinationals preferred).
• Demonstrated experience owning both organic growth and new business development — a genuine “hunter” profile, not purely an account steward.
• Experience selling or positioning technology, data, or AI solutions — e.g. enterprise software, data platforms, BI tools, or technical consulting — not only media or creative campaigns.
• Important: this is not a media/creative account role. Candidates should be able to speak the language of data architecture, APIs, and cloud/AI infrastructure fluently enough to earn a CTO's trust — even without an engineering background.
Skills & Competencies
• Commercial orientation — comfortable prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new business.
• Working fluency in data & AI solution architecture — data pipelines, APIs, cloud platforms, BI tools — enough to speak credibly with CTOs and technical stakeholders, not just marketing counterparts.
• Ability to flex between a marketing-led pitch (content, campaigns, brand systems) and a technical solutions pitch (data platforms, BI, AI infrastructure), depending on the client and stakeholder.
• Ability to translate complex technology capabilities into clear client value propositions.
• Strong executive communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal).
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity; able to structure complexity into actionable frameworks and proposals.
• Light people-leadership experience or aptitude — able to coach and direct 2 Account Directors.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish — non-negotiable.
• Based in Mexico City; in-office 2 days per week plus regular client visits.
• Willing to travel to the US regularly for client engagements.
• Contract type: Full-time.
● Competitive salary and benefits package
● Hybrid work arrangement (2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
● Direct mentorship and learning opportunities from senior leadership
● Exposure to cutting-edge AI technology and innovative marketing solutions
● Collaborative, fast-paced environment with growth potential
● Professional development support and career advancement opportunities
● Free Lunch on office days
● Free Friday afternoons
● Work from anywhere for 14 days/year
● Birthday day off to celebrate your day
● 23 vacation days + 2 personal days
