As we scale in the Mexico market, we're looking for a talented HR professional to support our people operations and contribute to building a strong organizational foundation.
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist who is passionate about tech talent and thrives in dynamic startup environments. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you'll play a key role in executing HR initiatives, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring smooth day-to-day people operations for our Mexico City office. • Support end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles including AI/ML engineers, data scientists, developers, and technical marketing specialists
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels tailored to the Mexico tech talent market
• Coordinate interviews, maintain candidate communication, and ensure a positive candidate experience
• Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
• Execute HR policies and procedures established by the HR Director
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and time-off tracking
• Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations under HR Director guidance
• Serve as first point of contact for employee questions and concerns
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture activities
• Assist with conflict resolution and escalate complex issues to HR Director
• Help coordinate performance review cycles and feedback processes
• Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and systems
• Support training and development program coordination
• Assist with HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision making
• Participate in special HR projects as assigned by HR Director
• 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to tech or startup environments preferred
• Experience supporting technical recruitment processes (exposure to AI/ML, software engineering, or data science roles is a plus)
• Solid understanding of Mexican labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices
• Hands-on experience with HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• Experience in marketing, advertising, or tech agency environments
• Familiarity with sourcing strategies for technical talent
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
