THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced senior marketing leader to join KEENFOLKS X_ as Fractional Chief Marketing Officer. This is a strategic, high-autonomy role designed for someone who wants real ownership.
This is not an execution role. Day-to-day marketing operations are led by our Marketing Manager. Your job is to set the direction, own the narrative, and be the credible senior face of marketing when it matters — with leadership, partners, press, and the broader market.
You will report directly to the CEO, and operate at the intersection of brand, strategy, PR, and commercial growth. You will have genuine influence over how KEENFOLKS X_ positions itself in the global AI marketing conversation — and the autonomy to make that positioning count.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own the Narrative
– Be the custodian of the KEENFOLKS X_ brand story — Integrative AI®, K_OS, AI-native global agency network — and ensure it lands consistently across all channels and touchpoints.
– Define and evolve the marketing positioning framework in partnership with the CEO.
– Set the standard for messaging quality, tone of voice, and strategic coherence across the business.
Lead Marketing Performance
– Own the global marketing KPI framework and deliver board-level performance reporting monthly.
– Define the metrics that matter — pipeline influence, brand reach, share of voice, earned media, audience growth — and hold the business accountable to them.
– Partner with the Marketing Manager weekly to align priorities, unblock execution, and review the content and campaign pipeline.
Drive PR & Earned Media
– Lead the relationship with the PR agency: brief, prioritise, and maintain quality control.
– Ensure PR activity is strategically driven by the KEENFOLKS X_ narrative — not just reactive press releases.
– Identify proactive opportunities to insert the company into the global AI marketing conversation through credible, earned channels.
Represent the Brand at Senior Level
– Attend CMO dinners, partner conversations, investor touchpoints, and key global events as the senior marketing voice of KEENFOLKS X_.
– Build and maintain relationships with industry voices, media contacts, analysts, and strategic partners.
– Elevate KEENFOLKS X_'s visibility in the AI, B2B tech, and enterprise marketing conversation — globally.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience
– 10+ years in senior B2B marketing roles, with at least 3 years at CMO, VP Marketing, or equivalent level.
– Proven track record building and protecting brand narratives for high-growth or complex B2B tech companies.
– Experience leading PR agency relationships and driving earned media outcomes in competitive, noisy categories.
– Comfortable operating as a board-level marketing voice — presenting performance, influencing strategy, and owning KPIs.
– Previous fractional, advisory, or portfolio experience is a strong advantage — you understand how to deliver impact without full-time bandwidth.
Background
We are most interested in candidates who come from one or more of the following:
– B2B SaaS scale-ups (Series B–D) where you owned the full marketing function.
– MarTech, AI/ML platforms, or enterprise data companies where narrative and positioning were commercially critical.
– Global digital agencies or AI-native consultancies at a senior leadership level.
– Big-4 or strategy consulting firms where you built or led a marketing transformation practice.
– Fractional CMO networks or portfolio marketing leadership across multiple clients.
Skills & Mindset
– Exceptional strategic thinker who can connect brand narrative to commercial outcomes.
– Strong communicator — written and verbal — with the gravitas to represent the company externally.
– Genuine fluency with AI, data, and marketing technology — not just familiarity, but real conviction.
