Role Overview ⚡️
We’re looking for a Cloud & Data Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud data architectures while leading DevOps practices and mentoring engineers. You’ll partner with clients and internal teams to shape cloud strategies, deploy modern data pipelines, and enable AI/ML solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities 🧑🚀
Technical Project Management
1. Cloud & Data Architecture Strategy
Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized multi-cloud architectures (AWS & Azure).
Partner with client Solution Architects and IT leaders to ensure feasibility, compliance, and alignment with enterprise strategies.
Define data ingestion, storage, and processing strategies (batch + streaming) with full lineage, cataloging, and governance.
Decide on build vs. buy for data/AI pipelines, integrating commercial and open-source tools.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and CCPA.
Contribute to technology roadmaps, ensuring scalability and modularity.
2. Hands-On Technical Leadership & DevOps
Deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep) for reproducible environments.
Build modern data pipelines with Airbyte, dbt, Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory.
Implement CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for pipelines and microservices.
Run scalable workloads with Docker, ECS/Fargate, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
Establish monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
Apply security best practices: IAM, secrets management, API gateways, OAuth2, Cognito, Azure AD B2C.
Support AI teams in deploying ML/AI models into production (Azure ML, SageMaker) with MLOps pipelines.
3. Team Growth & Best Practices
Lead code reviews, define DevOps standards, and drive engineering excellence.
Qualifications 🖥️
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master’s a plus).
·Proven experience designing cloud & data architectures on AWS and/or Azure.
Strong hands-on DevOps expertise (IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, observability).
Experience with modern data engineering tools and practices.
Knowledge of security frameworks and data privacy regulations.
Leadership skills to mentor teams and collaborate with client stakeholders.
